about

Written in 2010 with friends, (Angel, Chris, Tami and myself) in a beautiful mountain home just outside of Nashville that Angel was house-sitting. The demo sat on a hard drive until 2020, during which I resurrected and completely reimagined the production during Covid lockdown. The line “on and on” kept cycling my frontal lobe amidst the day-to-day malaise of being stuck inside. That said, this song is actually about hope, perspective, and the indomitable beauty of all things everlasting. Anyhow it felt like the right time to bring it back to life.
With the help of some musician friends who, remotely, helped lay the proverbial bricks of the sonic wall, I’m proud to now share it with you and hope it offers some magic.
